Melissa L. Mandel received her Bachelor of Arts degree Cum Laude from the University of North Florida. During her undergraduate studies, she served as captain of the Mock Trial Team and was selected as a national recipient of the American Mock Trial Association Outstanding Defense Attorney Award honoring the demonstration of superior trial advocacy. Ms. Mandel continued her education at the University of Florida College of Law, obtaining a Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, she served on the executive board of the prestigious Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Board.

Ms. Mandel practices in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on medical malpractice defense. She is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association. Ms. Mandel is admitted to practice in all state courts in Florida.
