Matthew P. Tabakman, after working for the United States Treasury Department in Washington, DC, attended the University of Florida College of Law and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree in December 2001.  During his time at the College of Law, Mr. Tabakman served on the Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Board, and he clerked during the summer of 2000 for the Honorable Walter Komanski of the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court in Orlando.

Mr. Tabakman practices in the area of civil litigation in both state and federal court, with an emphasis on medical malpractice and nursing home defense.  He is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Central Florida Gay & Lesbian Law Association.  Mr. Tabakman is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Florida.
